Contentious Probate Solicitor (NQ+) - Swansea
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Contentious Probate team within a growing regional law firm with a strong presence across Wales and the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself in a niche and increasingly sought-after area of law, working alongside recognised specialists on high-quality contentious probate matters. The Role
Based in Swansea, you will join a specialist team handling a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including:
- Will validity disputes and challenges
- Inheritance Act claims
- Trust disputes
- Estate administration disputes
- Claims involving executors, trustees and beneficiaries
Working closely with experienced lawyers, you will receive excellent support and training whilst developing your own expertise and client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development activities and help drive the continued growth of the department.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ and above)
- A genuine interest in developing a career in Contentious Probate
- Previous exposure to litigation and/or private client work would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
