Construction Solicitor (NQ - 3 PQE) - Bristol

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor (NQ - 3 PQE) to join a Top 100 UK law firm with a strong national presence and a Legal 500-ranked construction team.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a genuine interest in contentious construction law and a desire to work on complex, high-quality matters for a diverse client base.

You'll advise and represent clients on:

  • Construction disputes, adjudications and litigation
  • Pre-action protocol and dispute resolution matters
  • Mediation and strategic dispute management
  • Contentious construction issues across a range of sectors

There is also the opportunity to gain exposure to non-contentious construction work if desired, although this is not essential to the role.

You'll work with an impressive client portfolio including:

  • National developers and contractors
  • Leading housebuilders
  • Housing associations and social housing providers


This is a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise, gain direct client exposure and take on meaningful responsibility from an early stage.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ - 3 years PQE)
  • Experience in construction law, ideally within a specialist construction team or through a dedicated training seat
  • Strong interest in contentious construction matters
  • Ability to manage your own workload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
