Job title: Construction Partner/Senior Solicitor
Location: Reading
Salary: £95k-£160k - depending on experience
PQE Level: 10+
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
My client is a leading Chambers and Legal 500-ranked full-service firm. Its construction team has an outstanding reputation across the UK real estate sector. They're providing an excellent opportunity for an established Construction Partner or a senior lawyer ready to step into a leadership position.
You'll advise a diverse client base on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters across residential, commercial and industrial developments. You will advise on construction documentation, development agreements, major project work and supporting complex real estate and finance transactions, amongst others.
Benefiting from a healthy existing caseload, you'll be supported by a collaborative team and have access to significant cross-referral opportunities from the firm's market-leading property practice. The firm is also keen for individuals with a strong business case, network or following, however, more crucially is a proven ability in business development combined with technical expertise. Overall, this is a chance to make the role your own within a market-leading setup and is an ideal option for senior solicitors seeking more autonomy, and less politics without sacrificing the quality of work.
