Commercial Real Estate Solicitor / FCILEX - Taunton - 2+ Years PQE
Location: Taunton
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £85,000 (DOE)

A well established South West law firm is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor / FCILEX (2+ PQE) to join its thriving and growing Real Estate team in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high quality matters while contributing to the continued development of a growing office.

The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of commercial real estate work, advising a broad client base including businesses, developers, investors, landowners and private individuals. Your work is likely to include:

  • Acquisition and disposal of commercial property
  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Development and regeneration projects
  • Property finance transactions
  • Portfolio management
  • Strategic land and development work
  • Supporting clients on a wide range of commercial property issues


You'll work closely with experienced colleagues across the wider Real Estate team, building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Solicitor or FCILEX with:

  • 2-8+ years' PQE in commercial property
  • Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
  • Confidence managing a varied caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Enthusiasm for business development and building long term client connections
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to support the growth of a developing office
