Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Cardiff

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established and expanding Welsh law firm with a strong reputation across South Wales.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to build upon their existing commercial property experience within a supportive and growing team.

You will manage a varied caseload and work closely with experienced colleagues on a broad range of matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
  • Landlord and tenant matters, including renewals, assignments and licences
  • Property development and investment transactions
  • Property finance and secured lending work
  • Easements, covenants, overage agreements and title matters
  • Building and developing relationships with clients and professional contacts


The role offers excellent exposure to quality work and the opportunity to play an active part in the continued growth of the team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
  • Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions
  • Good working knowledge of commercial leases and freehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage your own caseload effectively
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing department
