Commercial Property Associate Solicitor - Newport
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500-recognised South Wales law firm with a strong reputation across the region.
Joining an established and successful team, you will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for businesses, developers, investors and landowners. This is a senior-level opportunity offering high levels of autonomy, exposure to quality work, and the chance to play an active role in the continued growth and success of the department.

The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction to completion
- Handling acquisitions, disposals and general sale and purchase transactions
- Investigating title and carrying out property due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating legal documents and transaction-related agreements
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other third parties
- Reporting to clients on transaction progress and providing clear commercial advice
- Supervising and supporting support staff where appropriate
- Assisting with business development, networking and promoting the firm's services
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' experience within Commercial Property
- Strong experience managing sale and purchase transactions independently
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience supervising support staff would be advantageous
