As a result, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banking & Finance Associate or Senior Associate to join a successful and expanding team, working on high-quality transactions for an impressive client base.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of finance transactions and you will advise both lenders and borrowers on a variety of matters, including:
- Acquisition finance transactions
- Real estate finance
- Management buyouts
- Private equity-backed transactions
- Clearing bank panel work
- Corporate lending arrangements
- Refinancing and restructuring matters
- Complex banking and finance transactions from inception through to completion
Alongside transactional work, you'll work closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives, provide practical advice and develop long-term relationships. You'll also have the opportunity to become involved in networking, business development and broader strategic initiatives within the team.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- 4+ years' PQE within Banking & Finance
- Experience handling finance transactions and managing matters with increasing autonomy
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Experience working directly with clients and building trusted relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for business development and networking
