Associate / Senior Associate / Managing Associate - Commercial Property - Bristol - 2-6+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (Hybrid working)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £65,000 to £95,000

A leading national practice is seeking an Associate, Senior Associate or Managing Associate to join its growing Commercial Property team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, ambitious and forward thinking environment, advising a broad range of clients on high quality commercial property matters.

The Role

  • Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
  • Handling landlord and tenant matters, including leases and lease negotiations
  • Working on telecoms matters and associated property issues
  • Managing asset management work for investors, lenders, landlords and tenants
  • Leading transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial property agreements
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Transactional Property Group
  • Supporting business development and contributing to team growth
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees (for senior candidates)

The team does not undertake development or energy work, as these areas are handled by specialist teams.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2-6+ years' PQE (flexible for the right candidate, including MA level)
  • Strong technical skills across a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Pragmatic, commercial approach to advising clients
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence managing files independently and supporting complex transactions
  • Interest in business development and contributing to team success
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for supporting junior colleagues
