Associate Solicitor - Medical Negligence - Swansea - 0-2 Years PQE
Location: Swansea
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £37,000 to £45,000
A highly respected regional firm is seeking a Medical Negligence Associate Solicitor with 0-2 years' post qualification experience to join its specialist and well established Medical Negligence team in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive, expert department, managing your own caseload while gaining exposure to complex, high value claims.
The Role
You'll be responsible for handling a varied caseload of medical negligence matters, including:
- Managing your own files under supervision
- Assisting senior colleagues on complex and high value claims
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and healthcare providers
- Drafting legal documents and preparing cases for settlement or litigation
- Providing clear, empathetic advice throughout the claims process
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the team
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 0-2 years PQE
- Experience in medical negligence, personal injury or litigation (through seats, roles or placements)
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Excellent drafting abilities and attention to detail
- Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy environment
- A proactive, organised and supportive approach
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
