Associate or Senior Associate - Employment - Bristol - Hybrid
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate to join a highly respected Employment team in Bristol. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and growing practice that advises a broad range of employer clients, senior executives, and organisations across both the public and private sectors.
This role offers exposure to a varied caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced colleagues on complex and strategic employment law issues while building strong client relationships and developing their professional profile.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment law matters, workforce management, and strategic projects
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing matters
- Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE transfers, outsourcing projects, and business reorganisations
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, executive service agreements, policies, and settlement agreements
- Contributing to business development activities, networking events, and client relationship management initiatives
The ideal candidate will have strong technical employment law knowledge, excellent drafting skills, and a commercial approach to client service. They will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workloads effectively while working collaboratively within a high-performing team.
