Associate / Senior Associate - Property Litigation - Exeter

Chadwick Nott are partnering with a Top 100 UK law firm with a strong national presence and an outstanding reputation across the charity, private wealth and real estate sectors. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to recruit an experienced Property Litigation lawyer to join its specialist Charities team, advising a diverse client base that includes many of the UK's leading charitable organisations.

The Role
Working as part of a highly regarded specialist team, you'll advise charities and not-for-profit organisations on a wide range of property disputes, helping clients protect valuable property assets and achieve their strategic objectives.

  • Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, rent reviews, rights of way and boundary disputes.
  • Advise on adverse possession claims, trespass matters, possession proceedings and disputes involving third-party rights.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm's Charities, Property and Private Wealth teams to deliver seamless advice on complex matters.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a key adviser to charities, trustees and not-for-profit organisations.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of a market-leading practice.


Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in Property Litigation, ideally at Associate or Senior Associate level.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Commercially focused with a practical approach to dispute resolution.
  • Experience advising charities or not-for-profit organisations would be beneficial, although candidates with a genuine interest in developing this specialism are also encouraged to apply.
  • A collaborative team player with a desire to contribute to a successful and growing practice.
