Associate - Health & Care Regulatory - Bristol - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000

A respected national law firm is seeking a Health & Care Regulatory Associate (4+ PQE) to join its established and growing Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse, intellectually stimulating practice area, advising clients across the health, social care, education and housing sectors.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of advisory and contentious matters, including:

  • Court of Protection litigation
  • Human rights, mental health and safeguarding issues
  • Patient safety, complaints and disputes
  • Education matters including SEND
  • Children law and challenges to decision making in health and social care
  • Advocacy at hearings, Tribunals and the family court
  • Supervising junior colleagues
  • Active involvement in client care and business development


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 4+ years' PQE
  • Experience in Court of Protection, education or children's law
  • Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively
  • A practical, commercial approach to problem solving
  • Enthusiasm for developing legal skills and taking on new challenges
  • Experience supervising junior team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
