Associate - Corporate - Bristol (3-6 PQE)
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience)

A growing and ambitious law firm is seeking a commercially minded Corporate Associate (3-6 PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside market leading partners on high quality UK and international transactions, gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and strategically important corporate work from day one.

The Role
You'll be responsible for advising on a varied mix of domestic and cross border corporate matters, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Private equity transactions
  • Venture capital investments
  • Group restructurings and reorganisations
  • Corporate governance and general advisory
  • Transactions across key sectors including Tech and Health & Social Care


You will work closely with partners and colleagues across multiple offices, collaborating with a wider national corporate team of almost 40 specialists. You'll benefit from strong partner access, structured development and the opportunity to build long term client relationships within a high performing and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3-6 years' PQE gained within a regional or national corporate team
  • Experience supporting on M&A, private equity and venture capital matters
  • Strong interest in the Tech sector and willingness to engage in sector focused BD
  • Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • A proactive attitude and genuine interest in business development
