Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Private Client - Glastonbury - NQ-2 Years PQE
Location: Glastonbury (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 + KPI linked bonus

A respected and long established Somerset law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ-2 years PQE) to join its expanding Private Client team in Glastonbury. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload within a supportive, progressive environment offering genuine flexibility and strong development opportunities.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

  • Wills and LPAs
  • Taxable and non taxable estates
  • Estate administration
  • Trust matters (beneficial but not essential)
  • Court of Protection matters (beneficial but not essential)

You will also contribute to the department's growth and maintain excellent client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a Private Client specialist who is:

  • A Solicitor (NQ-2 years PQE) or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Confident in managing a varied caseload


You will need:

  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Experience handling both straightforward and complex matters
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own administration
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach
  • A full driving licence for occasional travel across Somerset

STEP or SFE membership is desirable, and training support is available.
