Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor / FCILEx - Bristol

The Role


Excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a respected national firm in their Serious and Catastrophic Injury team in Bristol.

Working within a specialist claimant department, you'll handle a varied caseload involving vulnerable road users including cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians with injuries ranging from fractures and psychiatric harm to moderate brain injuries and complex pain conditions.

This is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the Bristol office two days per week, with the remainder worked from home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of Fast Track and Intermediate Track matters
  • Running files efficiently and in line with agreed service standards
  • Communicating clearly with clients, insurers and other stakeholders
  • Supporting trainee case handlers through training, case planning and supervision
  • Attending networking and business development events


Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have solid experience running their own litigated personal injury caseload, ideally including vulnerable road user claims. Experience with minor to moderate brain injuries would be advantageous.

You will also bring:

  • Strong understanding of the litigation process from issue to trial
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using case management systems and completing your own typing
  • A practical, proactive approach with the ability to manage expectations
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for supporting team development
