Senior Lawyer - Asbestos Disease - Llanelli
Location: Llanelli (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 + £4,500 car allowance (DOE)

A leading national claimant firm is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join its specialist Asbestos Disease team in Llanelli. This is a rare opportunity to work within a highly regarded, award winning team dedicated to securing justice for individuals and families affected by asbestos related illnesses.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a complex and high value Multi Track caseload, including:

  • Mesothelioma and asbestos related disease claims
  • Multi Track litigation from instruction to trial
  • Cases issued in the Royal Courts of Justice, London
  • Drafting, negotiation and strategic case management
  • Liaising with medical experts, counsel and support organisations


As a senior lawyer, you will also:

  • Provide supervision and technical support to colleagues
  • Promote best practice and consistency across the team
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive working culture
  • Deliver empathetic, high quality client care


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a specialist asbestos or industrial disease lawyer who has:

  • A proven track record in asbestos related disease litigation
  • Extensive Multi Track experience, including complex, high value claims
  • Strong understanding of funding, costs and litigation strategy
  • The ability to support and guide colleagues
  • A compassionate, client focused approach
  • Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills
