Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 + £4,500 car allowance (DOE)

A highly respected national claimant firm is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join its award winning Asbestos Disease team in Cardiff. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading specialist asbestos teams, supporting clients and families affected by mesothelioma, asbestos related lung cancer, asbestosis and pleural thickening.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a high value Multi Track caseload, including:

• Complex asbestos disease claims
• High value Multi Track litigation
• Cases issued in the Royal Courts of Justice, London
• Full conduct from initial instruction through to trial
• Drafting, negotiation and strategic case planning
• Working closely with medical experts, counsel and specialist support services

As a senior member of the team, you will also:

• Provide technical guidance and supervision to colleagues
• Support best practice and consistency in case handling
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture
• Deliver exceptional client care in highly sensitive circumstances

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced asbestos or industrial disease specialist who has:

• A strong track record in asbestos related disease litigation
• Significant Multi Track experience, including complex, high value claims
• Strong knowledge of funding, costs and procedural strategy
• The ability to supervise and support colleagues
• A compassionate, client centred approach
• Excellent communication, drafting and analytical skills
