A well established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor / Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join its growing team in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded conveyancer to take on high quality work, contribute to business development, and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.

The Role
You will manage a varied and high quality caseload of residential property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • New build transactions
  • Shared ownership and Help to Buy matters
  • Managing files from instruction through to completion
  • Delivering an efficient, consistent service in line with CQS and Conveyancing Protocol requirements
  • Contributing to the team's financial performance through effective file management and billing
  • Building and maintaining strong referrer relationships with agents, brokers, developers and repeat clients


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with:

  • 3+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across all core residential property matters
  • Confidence managing files independently from instruction to completion
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness, including an understanding of profitability and service delivery
  • Proven ability - or a clear plan - to build and maintain introducer relationships
  • Ability to balance quality, volume and client expectations in a busy environment
  • Motivation, ambition and a desire to contribute to team growth
