Head of Residential Property - Salisbury - Senior Leadership Role with Partnership Pathway

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 + performance bonus (DOE)

A respected and forward thinking law firm is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Head of Residential Property to lead its established department in Salisbury. This senior leadership role forms a key part of the firm's succession planning and offers a genuine, transparent pathway to partnership.

The Role
You'll take full responsibility for the Residential Property department, overseeing both operational performance and strategic development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the Residential Property team
  • Managing a high quality caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Driving business development initiatives and contributing to the firm's wider growth strategy
  • Playing a central role in shaping the long term direction of the department


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • Significant experience in residential property law
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience, or clear readiness to step into a senior role
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of organisation, accuracy, and professional integrity
  • An existing client following or referrer network (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ambition and capability to progress to partnership in the near term
