Private Client Solicitor - Wiltshire

Fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well established regional firm with strong coverage across Wiltshire. This firm is known for high quality private client work, a supportive culture and a reputation that extends well beyond the local area.

They are now looking to strengthen their nationally recognised Private Client team with an experienced solicitor (4+ PQE).

This is a great chance to join a collaborative, Legal 500 ranked department where many of the lawyers are STEP qualified or Lifetime Lawyers members, giving the team real depth and expertise.

The Role
You'll manage a varied and rewarding caseload of private client matters, working closely with a friendly and cohesive team. The work includes:

  • Wills, probate and estate administration
  • LPAs
  • Trust and tax matters
  • High quality, often complex private client work


You'll also have the opportunity to:

  • Build and develop new client relationships through networking and BD in a way that suits your strengths
  • Support junior team members with their training and development
  • Play a part in the continued growth of a respected and expanding team


Candidate Requirements
This role will suit a Private Client Solicitor who has:

  • 4+ years' PQE in private client work
  • Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, LPAs, trusts and tax
  • Excellent client care skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy
  • A proactive approach to business development
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues
  • STEP membership or interest in working towards it (advantageous)
