Family Senior Associate / Partner - Dorset
Join one of the South's leading regional law firms. My client are a well established, highly ranked practice with strong coverage across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Known for its quality of work, modern approach and continued growth, the firm is now seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to strengthen its Family team in Dorset.
The Role
A senior opportunity within a respected and expanding Family practice, working on high quality private family matters including:
- Complex financial remedy cases
- Children matters
- Relationship breakdowns and associated disputes
You'll work closely with specialist family lawyers across the region and play a key role in shaping the team's presence in Dorset. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a high value caseload
- Providing leadership and mentoring junior lawyers
- Building strong referral networks
- Leading business development activity
- Supporting the continued growth of the Family team
The team is known for its constructive, Resolution led approach, with strong capability in both non court and court based work.
Candidate Requirements
We're looking for a senior family law specialist with:
- Significant experience in private family law (financial and children matters)
- ADR qualifications (e.g., mediation, collaborative law)
- Strong technical and procedural expertise
- Proven ability to manage complex, high value cases
- A strong regional network and business development experience (a following is a bonus)
