Commercial Property Solicitor - Real Estate - Cardiff - 1-5 Years PQE
Location: Cardiff (with hybrid working options)

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded Real Estate team in Cardiff. The team advises an impressive client base including investors, government bodies, social housing providers, the NHS, developers, banks, occupiers and charities, offering exposure to a broad mix of high quality public and private sector work.

This is an excellent platform to develop your technical skills, gain hands on experience with high value transactions, and build long lasting client relationships within a supportive and ambitious team.

The Role
You will work closely with senior fee earners and manage your own matters, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting and/or leading on purchases, sales and acquisitions
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, transfers, deeds and related documentation
  • Advising on mixed use development matters
  • Undertaking due diligence, including title review, raising enquiries and reviewing searches
  • Liaising with clients, counterpart solicitors and third party professionals
  • Obtaining indemnity insurance quotes and liaising with brokers
  • Conducting legal research and preparing reports
  • Attending client meetings and all party discussions
  • Participating in business development and client engagement activities


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:

  • 1-5 years PQE in commercial property or real estate
  • Experience gained at a reputable national or regional firm
  • Strong technical competence and a commercial approach
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
  • Confidence, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team
  • Resilience, adaptability and a proactive mindset
  • Motivation to contribute to practice development and sector growth
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional service
