Serious Injury Lawyer - High Value Personal Injury - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (with hybrid working options)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 + car allowance

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Serious Injury Lawyer to join a specialist team handling high value and catastrophic personal injury claims. This role is ideal for a driven and compassionate litigator who wants to make a meaningful difference to clients living with life changing injuries.

You will manage a complex caseload of claims typically valued in excess of £1 million, including serious orthopaedic injuries, spinal and brain injuries, amputations and multi trauma cases arising from road traffic collisions, workplace accidents and public liability incidents.

The Role
You will take ownership of your own files from instruction through to settlement or trial, including:

  • Managing a caseload of high value serious injury and catastrophic injury claims
  • Leading on litigation strategy and progressing cases efficiently
  • Liaising directly with clients, medical experts, counsel and insurers
  • Preparing cases for settlement meetings, joint settlement discussions and trial
  • Providing guidance and support to junior lawyers within the team
  • Ensuring clients receive clear, empathetic and high quality legal advice throughout their claim


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or experienced lawyer with:

  • Proven experience handling serious injury or catastrophic injury claims
  • Strong litigation, negotiation and case management skills
  • Ability to manage a significant and complex caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A client focused approach and commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes
  • Confidence in working collaboratively while supporting junior colleagues
