Solicitor - Employment Law - Cheltenham - 0-3 Years PQE

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

A well regarded law firm in Cheltenham is seeking an Employment Lawyer with 0-3 years' post qualification experience to join its established Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a supportive, high performing environment, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of Employment matters, including:

  • Advising clients on both contentious and non contentious Employment issues
  • Drafting contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and tribunal documentation
  • Assisting senior lawyers with complex tribunal claims and advisory work
  • Managing client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice
  • Participating in marketing and business development initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 0-3 years PQE in Employment law
  • Strong technical knowledge of Employment legislation and case law
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Confidence in managing matters independently with appropriate supervision
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A proactive, client focused approach and collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
