Construction Disputes Solicitor / Associate (1-5 PQE) - Bristol

A highly regarded, award winning construction team is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join their Bristol office, focusing on a broad and complex contentious construction caseload. You'll be working with nationally recognised partners who are consistently ranked in the top tiers of the legal directories. The team operates on a hybrid, flexible basis and is known for its collaborative, supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of high value construction dispute resolution and advisory matters.
• Handle complex contentious work including:
• Final account and loss & expense claims
• Defects disputes
• PFI/PPP and major projects disputes
• High value adjudications and litigation
• Work with a wide range of clients across sectors such as healthcare, local government, housing associations and the wider construction industry.
• Provide strategic legal advice to developers, funders, contractors and public sector bodies.
• Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the national construction practice.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 PQE in construction disputes. If construction disputes form part of a broader caseload, you are still encouraged to apply.
• Experience in PFI/PPP or major projects disputes is desirable but not essential.
• Strong drafting, analytical and client handling skills.
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to take on challenging, high profile work to develop your career.
• Open to both full time and part time applicants.
