Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive - Exeter - 2+ Years PQE
Location: Hybrid (Exeter)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 36.25 per week
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)
A well established and highly regarded regional firm is seeking an ambitious Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (2+ PQE) to join its specialist Litigation team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment with exposure to high quality contentious work across a range of courts and tribunals.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced litigators and advocates, gaining hands on experience across a broad spectrum of disputes. Your work will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of contentious matters
- Acting in proceedings before the High Court, District Registries, County Courts and Tribunals
- Supporting clients through all stages of the litigation process
- Handling matters from initial instruction through to resolution
- Working collaboratively within a close knit team, with office attendance encouraged on Mondays and Wednesdays to support team cohesion
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with:
- 2+ years' PQE in litigation or commercial dispute resolution
- Experience managing a varied contentious caseload, including consumer related disputes
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- A client focused, proactive and solutions driven approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Motivation, teamwork and a desire to develop within a growing practice
