A well established regional practice is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its Poole office, handling a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters. This is an excellent opportunity to take on autonomy, responsibility and high quality work within a supportive, client focused environment during a period of continued growth.

The Role
You'll manage a broad and interesting caseload of commercial and residential property transactions, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Commercial leases, renewals and landlord & tenant matters
  • Refinances, transfers of equity and portfolio transactions
  • Due diligence, title investigation and reporting on title
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers and ancillary documents
  • Managing files from instruction through to post completion
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and local authorities
  • Providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice
  • Ensuring compliance with AML, SRA and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships

You will play a key role in the continued growth of the Poole office, contributing to the firm's reputation for high quality, client centred service.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:

  • 5+ years' PQE in commercial and residential property
  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing, landlord & tenant and property finance
  • Proven ability to manage a mixed caseload independently
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to file management
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver practical, solutions focused advice
  • Confidence in building and maintaining trusted client relationships
  • A solid understanding of regulatory and risk management obligations
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
