Commercial Lawyer - Commercial, Technology & IP - Remote (UK) - 5+ Years PQE
Location: Fully Remote (UK)

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer with 5+ years' PQE to join a specialist legal delivery team providing high quality commercial, technology and IP support in innovative new ways. This is an excellent role for a lawyer seeking high quality work, greater flexibility, and the chance to operate as a core part of a major client's in house legal function while remaining within a global, forward thinking environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering the full spectrum of commercial contract support for a major client, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Technology, outsourcing and supplier agreements
- Intellectual property related matters
- Advising on contract queries and operational issues
- Working closely with the client's in house legal team
- Collaborating with a leading UK technology and commercial practice
- Taking ownership of contracts through tech enabled processes
- Supporting a positive, collaborative team culture
This role offers greater certainty and flexibility of working hours, alongside the opportunity to build deep relationships with one client and gain a strong understanding of their business.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 5+ years PQE in commercial contracts
- Experience in technology, outsourcing and/or IP matters
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Experience advising sophisticated clients (in house or private practice)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive, organised and methodical approach
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently
- Strong client service focus and commitment to high quality work
