A leading South West firm is seeking a Property/Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ-5 PQE) to join its well established and growing Litigation & Employment team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected team handling a broad range of commercial, residential and agricultural disputes for clients across England and Wales.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and assisting with a varied caseload of property related disputes, including:

  • Residential landlord and tenant matters
  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Land related disputes (rights of way, restrictive covenants, adverse possession etc.)
  • Acting for businesses, landlords, landowners and high net worth individuals
  • Supporting wider commercial litigation work (insolvency, debt recovery) where relevant
  • Working closely with real estate and agricultural sector teams
  • Developing areas of specialism and contributing to business development

You will join a team with a strong reputation and high quality workstreams, including referrals from internal property teams and external agents.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer with:

  • NQ-5 years PQE in property litigation or commercial litigation
  • Strong client care skills and the confidence to manage your own caseload
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team
  • Interest in developing specialist expertise and contributing to the team's growth
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
