Employment Senior Technical Solicitor / CILEX

Bristol, Leeds or Cardiff (Hybrid)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor or CILEX to join a well-established and highly regarded employment team.

This role involves working on a broad range of employment matters for a diverse client base, including insurers, businesses, consumers and institutions, handling both claimant and respondent work. The caseload is varied and offers exposure to complex and technical employment issues.

You will play a senior technical role within the team, providing strategic, practical and technical guidance while supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall development of the group. You will be expected to demonstrate strong expertise in employment law and set a high standard in the conduct of litigation.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in employment law, including handling all aspects of litigation. Experience working with insurer clients and liaising with claims handlers is important, as is the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively.

You should be commercially aware, client-focused and confident in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative approach and strong communication skills are essential, along with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.

This role offers hybrid working, with a blend of office and home working across the Bristol, Leeds or Cardiff locations. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
