A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join a growing compliance team in Cheltenham on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This is a newly created role offering excellent scope to develop, working closely with the Compliance Manager to support a range of regulatory and risk functions across the business. The position would suit someone from a legal or financial services background with an interest in compliance and risk.
The role is varied and will include assisting with maintaining and updating policies and procedures, conducting client due diligence and risk assessments, supporting internal audits and file reviews, coordinating compliance training, and helping manage complaints, claims and data breach registers.
You will play an important role in promoting a strong culture of compliance and accountability, working with sensitive information and supporting the wider team in maintaining high standards.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and dependable, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

The role is primarily office-based in Cheltenham.
