Head of Commercial Property - Chippenham, Wiltshire

A well established, modern regional law firm with offices across Wiltshire, known for its personable approach, long standing client relationships and commitment to high quality, forward thinking legal services, is seeking a dynamic Head of Commercial Property.

The Role
A standout opportunity to lead a thriving Commercial Property department and play a central role in shaping its future direction. You'll have full autonomy to drive growth, develop the team and manage a high quality caseload. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing the Commercial Property team
  • Managing a varied caseload including acquisitions, disposals, leases and development matters
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and referrers
  • Driving business development and contributing to wider firm strategy
  • Influencing the long term vision and success of the department

This is a senior leadership role with genuine influence and a clearly defined route to Partnership.

Candidate Requirements

  • A qualified Solicitor with solid experience and technical expertise in commercial property
  • Either an established leader or a senior lawyer ready to step confidently into leadership
  • Commercially astute, with proven business development skills or clear potential
  • Someone who brings (or can build) strong client/referrer relationships

A following is beneficial but not essential.
