Court of Protection Paralegal

Hybrid (4 days/week from home, 1 in the Bristol office)

Up to £29,000

A respected law firm is looking for someone passionate about supporting vulnerable people to join their Court of Protection team. You'll work closely with Partners on a mix of Property & Finance matters, with some Health & Welfare work. This role suits someone looking for a supportive, people‑focused environment.

Duties include:

  • Preparing Court of Protection applications
  • Managing deputyships and private trusts
  • Liaising with medical, financial and legal professionals
  • Monitoring budgets and safeguarding client interests
  • Assisting with property purchases and adaptations
  • Drafting PI trusts and legal documents

Person specification:

  • At least 6 months experience working as a Paralegal in a people-centred legal department, such as Court of Protection, Family, Childcare, Private Client, Human Rights, or Clinical Negligence.
  • A genuine desire to help clients and families navigate complex, sensitive situations
