Senior Associate - Commercial Contracts - 6+ Years PQE
Location: Flexible UK locations (with hybrid working)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (part time considered)
Salary: £80,000 to £110,000 (depending on experience)

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its highly regarded Commercial team. The Role
In this role, you will lead on sophisticated commercial projects and collaborate across practice areas to deliver clear, strategic and pragmatic advice. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and negotiating complex commercial contracts across sectors
  • Advising clients on regulatory compliance, including consumer law
  • Leading high value, multi party commercial matters
  • Helping shape and strengthen key client relationships
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development
  • Playing an active role in business development and wider practice growth


The Team
The Commercial team is recognised nationally and internationally for its depth of expertise and ability to advise on complex, high profile and ground breaking projects. Areas of specialism include:

  • Supply arrangements
  • Commercial joint ventures
  • Collaboration and partnering agreements
  • Terms and conditions for sale and purchase
  • Distribution and agency agreements
  • Logistics and warehousing
  • Consumer contracts
  • Services agreements


The team works with a range of major clients, including well known household brands.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer who is:

  • A qualified Solicitor registered with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland
  • 6+ years' PQE in commercial contracts within a recognised practice
  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Confident advising senior stakeholders and managing large scale projects
  • Commercially minded, collaborative and adaptable
  • Interested in emerging technologies and evolving regulatory landscapes
  • Knowledge of IP, data protection and consumer regulation is beneficial but not essential
