A respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its well-established team in Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional to work alongside a highly regarded Partner on a complex and high-net-worth family law caseload.

You'll be part of a friendly and professional team, including trainee CILEX professionals, in a supportive environment with excellent facilities and a beautiful office setting.

The Role

  • You will support the Partner in handling a wide range of family law matters, including high-value and intricate cases. The role offers hands-on involvement, client-facing responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and children issues
  • Assist with complex and high-net-worth cases involving intricate legal and financial arrangements
  • Provide expert legal advice and maintain high standards of client care
  • Work closely with the Partner to support strategic case management
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to the development of the team and wider firm


About You
We're looking for a qualified legal professional who:

  • Is a Solicitor or CILEX with 3+ years' PQE in family law (guideline only)
  • Has experience handling complex or high-net-worth family matters
  • Demonstrates excellent client care and communication skills
  • Is proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative in approach
  • Enjoys working in a supportive team environment
