An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established, multi-office regional law firm with a strong reputation across the South West.

The Residential Property team is highly regarded and supported by dedicated Conveyancing Assistants, allowing fee earners to focus on delivering a first-class client experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing team, handling a varied caseload while contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Advising on:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • Other residential property matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Supporting networking and business development activities
  • Sharing technical knowledge and contributing to team success


Candidate Requirements

We are keen to hear from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Chartered Legal Executives with a minimum of 6 years' PQE/equivalent experience in residential property.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Possess strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing
  • Have excellent client care and communication skills
  • Demonstrate proven business development and networking abilities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and professional contacts
  • Be proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high standards
  • Ideally have experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
