Family Solicitor / FCILEX (0-6 PQE) - Taunton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor or FCILEX to join a highly regarded Family Law team within a leading Legal 500-recognised regional firm.

The Role
Working as part of an established Family Finance team, you'll advise clients on a broad range of financial matters arising from relationship breakdown.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on divorce and separation matters
  • Assisting with and managing financial remedy cases
  • Drafting and advising on pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Handling matters involving complex assets and high-net-worth individuals
  • Advising on child maintenance and financial provision issues
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
  • Supporting senior lawyers on more complex cases
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the team


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or FCILEX with up to 6 years' PQE
  • Experience in Family Law, ideally with exposure to financial remedy work
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • A compassionate and pragmatic approach to client matters
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in networking and business development
  • A collaborative mindset and desire to develop your career within a successful team
