Employment Solicitor / Senior Paralegal

Bristol or Leeds (Hybrid or Remote)

From £35,000 depending on experience

An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor, FCILEx or experienced Senior Paralegal to join a well-established employment team handling a varied caseload.

The role will involve managing a caseload of Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of legal expenses insurers, as well as supporting on non-contentious matters where required. This includes advising on potential claims, drafting pleadings and witness statements, negotiating settlements, and instructing counsel where necessary.

In addition, you may assist with employment advisory work such as drafting contracts, policies and handbooks, and providing practical advice to commercial clients.

The successful candidate will have experience in employment law and be confident running their own caseload. A strong interest in this area is essential, along with excellent organisational, communication and time management skills. You should be able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

There may also be opportunities to supervise junior team members and become involved in marketing initiatives, including writing updates and delivering training sessions.

This role offers flexibility, with the option of hybrid or fully remote working from either the Bristol or Leeds location. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
