Paralegal - Childcare (Legal Aid)

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a busy Childcare team working on Legal Aid matters in Northampton.

This role will involve supporting on complex and sensitive cases involving children and families, including matters relating to care proceedings, safeguarding concerns and other serious issues. The work is highly engaging but requires resilience and a genuine interest in this area of law.

You will assist on a varied caseload and work closely with an experienced solicitor, with exposure to important and often urgent matters. The team handles a high volume of work, offering strong hands-on experience from the outset.

Candidates should ideally have previous experience in childcare, family law or another area involving sensitive client matters.

You will need to be highly organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication skills alongside a professional and empathetic approach.

This role is fully office-based in Northampton, with the potential for some flexibility in the future.
