The Role

A fantastic opportunity for a 3-6 PQE construction disputes lawyer to step into a Supervising Associate position within a high-performing and growing team.

You'll work on complex, high-value disputes across the construction and engineering sector, both in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on litigation in the Technology & Construction Court (TCC)
  • Handling arbitrations, adjudications, and other ADR processes
  • Managing multi-party, high-value disputes (delay, disruption, defects, professional negligence)
  • Delivering strategic advice on dispute avoidance and risk
  • Acting as a key client contact, building long-term relationships
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Collaborating across wider disputes, real estate and construction teams


You'll gain exposure to major infrastructure, energy and real estate projects, often with an international dimension.

Candidate Requirements

We're keen to speak with ambitious, commercially-minded lawyers who are ready to step up into a more senior role.

You should have:

  • 3-6 years' PQE in construction disputes (ideally from a leading firm)
  • Strong experience in litigation, arbitration or adjudication
  • Working knowledge of TCC procedures and standard form contracts (e.g. NEC, FIDIC)
  • Exposure to complex, high-value construction disputes
  • Excellent client-facing skills and commercial awareness
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in mentoring and team development


Desirable:

  • Experience in PFI and/or fire safety matters
  • Exposure to international arbitration frameworks (e.g. ICC, LCIA)
