Solicitor - Residential Development - Exeter - Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Residential Development Solicitor to join a dynamic and highly regarded real estate team. Based in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, this role offers exposure to high-quality work for an impressive client base including developers, landowners and housing providers.

The successful candidate will support a wide range of residential development matters, from land acquisition and disposal through to complex strategic projects. They will play a key role in delivering commercially focused advice, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting on residential development acquisitions and disposals for developers and landowners
  • Advising on affordable housing transactions for registered providers and housebuilders
  • Supporting strategic land projects including options, promotion agreements and long-term developments
  • Handling development-related matters such as overage, conditional contracts, title due diligence and easements


This role is ideal for a solicitor with 2-4+ years' PQE and a passion for residential development work. Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
