Solicitor - Property Litigation - Plymouth - NQ-1 PQE

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)
A growing and well regarded Property Litigation team is seeking a motivated Solicitor (NQ-1 PQE) to join its busy Plymouth office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high quality, high value contentious property work from the outset, working closely with senior lawyers in a supportive and ambitious environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for assisting with and managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including:
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Building Safety Act matters
- Real property disputes (rights of way, adverse possession, boundary issues, harassment)
- Commercial and residential service charge disputes
- Property insolvency and secured recoveries
- Working with clients including developers, housebuilders, corporate occupiers, investors, lenders and local authorities
- Running your own caseload with early responsibility
- Direct client contact and involvement in complex matters

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Solicitor with:
- NQ-1 year PQE in property litigation
- Experience gained during training or in a newly qualified role
- Exposure to both residential and commercial contentious property matters
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with a broad client base
- Empathy, sensitivity and professionalism when handling client matters
- Resilience and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
- Motivation to take on early responsibility and develop expertise
