Construction Associate - Bristol - Hybrid

A highly regarded law firm in Bristol is seeking a Construction Associate to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced partner, gaining early client exposure and high-quality work across a diverse range of development projects. The role offers strong support, clear progression opportunities, and the chance to shape long-term career development within a collaborative and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload involving commercial development, residential schemes, and emerging clean energy projects, acting for developers, contractors, consultants, and funders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, alongside bespoke construction documentation
• Advising on consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and project security documents
• Supporting real estate transactions and collaborating with wider legal teams
• Assisting with construction-related dispute matters where required

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience. Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build lasting client relationships are essential for success in this role.
