An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Dispute Resolution Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join a nationally recognised, award winning team in Exeter.

This is a team with serious credentials, consistently ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, and widely known for delivering exceptional results across a broad spectrum of complex commercial disputes. With continued growth, specialist sub teams and strong client demand, they are now looking to welcome a talented litigator ready to take on high quality, varied work from day one.

The Role
You'll join a high performing Dispute Resolution team handling a diverse caseload across major areas of commercial litigation, including:

  • Contractual and shareholder disputes
  • Financial and professional negligence claims
  • Judicial review matters
  • Business risk and regulatory issues
  • Insolvency related disputes

You'll work with an impressive client base ranging from start ups and individuals to multinational corporates, institutional investors, major banks and public sector bodies. Expect early responsibility, direct client contact and the chance to work closely with specialist Partners across the team.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 4+ years' PQE gained within a reputable commercial litigation or dispute resolution practice
  • Broad exposure to commercial disputes or a developing sector specialism
  • Confidence managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire client trust
  • Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to handle competing priorities
  • A client following would be advantageous, but not essential

Why Join?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Clear progression pathways and meaningful development opportunities
