Property Litigation NQ Solicitor - Plymouth

We are partnering with a highly ranked national law firm to recruit into their exceptional Property Litigation team in Plymouth.

This is one of the firm's fastest growing departments, with an outstanding reputation and an impressive client base spanning developers, housebuilders, investors, lenders, corporate occupiers and local authorities. For an NQ Solicitor, opportunities of this calibre with genuine early responsibility and exposure to high value work are rare.

The Role
You'll join a high performing Property Litigation team handling a broad and stimulating range of disputes. Expect exposure to quality work from day one, including:

  • Commercial landlord & tenant matters for major national clients
  • High value Building Safety Act matters
  • Rights of way, adverse possession, harassment and boundary disputes
  • Commercial and residential service charge disputes
  • Property insolvency and secured recoveries
  • Real property issues for developers, housebuilders and public sector bodies

Working closely with senior lawyers, you'll gain early responsibility, direct client contact and the opportunity to run your own matters within a supportive, friendly and ambitious team. This is an excellent platform for a junior lawyer looking to build deep expertise and progress quickly.

Candidate Requirements
The firm is seeking a motivated junior lawyer who can demonstrate:

  • NQ-1 PQE with a property litigation seat or relevant contentious property experience
  • A genuine interest in developing a long term career in property litigation
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with a broad client base
  • Empathy, professionalism and sound judgement when handling sensitive matters
  • Resilience, strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • A meticulous approach and appetite for early responsibility

Why Join?
You'll be joining a modern, ambitious national firm recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, with a strong regional presence and a reputation for high quality work and excellent training. Expect:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Clear, structured progression and genuine investment in your development
  • Exposure to complex, high value work from the outset
  • Opportunities to get involved in responsible business initiatives, charity work and D&I groups
  • A firm that prioritises wellbeing, work life balance and long term career development

If you've completed a property litigation seat and are passionate about building your career in this field, our client would be very keen to hear from you.
