Litigation Solicitor - Remote - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Remote (with travel to Dorset as required)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (flexible and part time options available)
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000
A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its successful Litigation & Recoveries team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high profile clients in a creditor led practice offering innovative strategies for debt and asset recovery, supported by bespoke case management systems and advanced MI reporting.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of defended litigation and asset based recovery matters, including:
- Acting for finance houses, banks, lenders and commercial clients
- Managing cases independently and advising clients by phone, in writing and in person
- Progressing litigation across small, fast and multi track matters from pre issue to enforcement
- Drafting pleadings, evidence, court documents and correspondence
- Advising clients on strategy and commercial approach
- Meeting client reporting requirements
- Responding to new client enquiries and cross referring internally where appropriate
- Researching new issues and developing creative solutions
- Complying with firm wide and SRA procedures
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and best practice
- Promoting the firm's core values of client focus, teamwork and progressiveness
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- Minimum 3 years' PQE in defended litigation
- Strong background in Consumer Credit and Asset Finance
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong commercial awareness and client focused approach
- Confident communication skills across all formats
- Ability to support junior colleagues and act as a role model
- Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous development
