Ideally this role will be based in either Marlborough or Devizes.

The Role
Our client are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to manage a varied caseload within a busy, supportive department. You'll handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Commercial leases and associated documents
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Property finance transactions
  • Property elements of corporate deals and due diligence

You'll deliver excellent client service, build strong relationships, and play an active role in business development and profile raising for the department.

Candidate Requirements

  • Around 3+ years PQE in commercial property
  • Confident managing your own files with minimal supervision
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, title issues, planning/environmental considerations, SDLT and VAT implications
  • Familiarity with case management systems and Land Registry processes
  • Excellent communication and client handling skills
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
  • Able to manage deadlines, costs and expectations effectively
