A well established South West law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its busy and supportive Family team in Exmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client focused lawyer to handle a varied caseload and contribute to the continued growth of a respected regional practice.

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of family law matters and provide high quality advice across a broad range of issues, including:

  • Divorce and civil partnership matters
  • Separation and cohabitation issues
  • Financial remedy work
  • Private children matters
  • General family law advice
  • Legal Aid work (desirable but not essential)

You will work closely with colleagues across the department, delivering exceptional client care and supporting the wider team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner with 5+ years' experience managing your own caseload
  • Strong background across a broad range of family law matters
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
  • Personable, articulate and confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using case management systems (advantageous)
  • Comfortable transitioning to e files and digital workflows
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent client service
  • Interest in supervising or mentoring junior staff is welcomed
