Salary:

  • Associate : £60,000 - £65,000
  • Senior Associate: £68,000 - £78,000
  • Partner: £80,000 - £120,000

A leading national Private Client team is seeking an Associate, Senior Associate or Partner to join its highly regarded Lifetime Planning practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a top tier team advising high net worth and ultra high net worth clients on complex estate planning, wills and trust matters.

The team has a strong national reputation and offers access to sophisticated work, high profile clients and excellent long term career prospects.

The Role
You will work within a well established Private Capital team, handling a broad range of lifetime planning and estate advisory matters, including:

  • Estate planning and drafting wills and trust documentation for HNW and UHNW clients
  • Advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax issues
  • Advising business owners on pre exit planning opportunities
  • Advising on the creation, management and winding up of trusts
  • Working alongside financial planners and discussing a wide range of financial products
  • Advising on deeds of variation, discretionary trust arrangements and loan structures
  • Handling LPAs and related lifetime planning documents
  • Participating in networking, BD events, webinars and speaking opportunities
  • Delivering exceptional client service and building long term trusted relationships

You will work closely with partners and senior specialists, gaining exposure to complex and stretching matters while developing your technical expertise.

Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has 4+ years' PQE in Private Client work, with strong experience in wills and lifetime planning
  • Is passionate about private client work and enjoys client interaction
  • Has excellent attention to detail and a solutions focused approach
  • Is confident managing complex matters and knowing when to seek guidance
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive team
  • Is committed to ongoing learning and technical development (STEP/CTA support available)
  • Is comfortable with networking and business development
  • Can work independently with appropriate supervision
