A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its high performing Corporate team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value, complex transactions across M&A and private equity, within a dynamic and forward thinking environment. Hybrid working is available for candidates within a commutable distance of the Bristol office.

The Role
You will work on a broad range of high quality corporate matters, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Private equity transactions
  • Investments, disposals and strategic corporate projects
  • Advising corporates, business owners, management teams and investors
  • Supporting sector focused work across energy, insurance and real estate
  • Collaborating with colleagues across a national corporate practice
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship growth

You will join a smaller, motivated sub team within a wider national corporate group of around 50 lawyers, offering both visibility and impact while benefiting from a large, well resourced platform.

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer with:

  • 4+ years' PQE as a UK qualified Solicitor
  • Strong experience in high quality corporate work
  • Ideally, familiarity with private equity transactions
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • Ability to deliver complex advice clearly and pragmatically
  • A collaborative mindset and strong team ethos
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
